Phuket’s warm, humid climate is comfortable for a holiday but demanding for dried cannabis flower. Heat, moisture, direct light and repeated moves between air-conditioned rooms and outdoor air can change aroma and texture quickly. Good storage is less about complicated equipment and more about keeping conditions stable.
Why Phuket conditions matter
Warm air can accelerate the loss of delicate aromatic compounds. High humidity can make flower feel damp and, in poor conditions, create an environment where contamination develops. Strong sunlight and UV exposure also work against aroma and freshness.
The biggest practical problem is often fluctuation: a container moves from a cool room to a hot scooter box, then back into air conditioning. Stable conditions are more useful than chasing one perfect number.
Choose the right container
A clean glass jar with a reliable seal is a simple option for short-term storage. It limits outside air and does not carry the smell or residue that soft plastic can develop. The jar should not be packed so tightly that flower is crushed.

Pick a stable place
Store the closed container inside a cupboard or drawer in an air-conditioned room, away from windows, appliances and vehicles. Do not leave it on a balcony, in direct sun or in a parked car or scooter compartment.
A household refrigerator is usually unnecessary for everyday flower. Repeated opening, condensation and food odours can create new problems. Freezing can also damage delicate surface structures when the flower is handled.
Check before use
Open the container and look for unusual dampness, visible growth, powdery residue or a musty or ammonia-like smell. These are not normal signs of a fresh aromatic batch. If contamination is suspected, do not use the product.
